Terms and Conditions



Invoices

The Business will invoice the Client after completion of milestone(s) or the Project, unless otherwise noted in the Payment schedule. The Client agrees to pay invoice(s) by the due date(s) specified. Unpaid or overdue invoices may result in suspension or termination of the Project.

Payment methods

Payment will be made to the Business via cash, cheque, an approved payment card, or by any other payment method that is accepted by the Business.

Consumer Guarantees

(a) Nothing in this Agreement is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify the rights which either of the parties may have under the Australian Consumer Law. (b) A failure to comply with the Consumer Guarantee provisions under the Australian Consumer Law to the extent they apply to this Agreement, the Business’ liability is limited to (at its election):
(i) in the case of a supply of goods: (A) replacing the goods or supplying equivalent goods; (B) repairing the goods; (C) paying the cost of replacing the goods or acquiring equivalent goods; or (D) paying the cost of having the goods repaired; and
(ii) in the case of a supply of services: (A) resupplying the services or (B) paying the cost of having the services supplied again.

Service Terms

1. Platinum Mobile Car Detailing service prices include materials and GST, as well as travel costs

2. To ensure we deliver the best results. Platinum Mobile Car Detailing has the right to alter services to suit the vehicles requirements.

3. All personal belongings should be removed by the customer prior to working on the vehicle

4. Any left-over items remaining in the vehicle once the booking is underway, will be organised as seen fit. Platinum Mobile Car Detailing takes no responsibility for items. This includes items that can be mistaken for rubbish.

5. Platinum Mobile Car Detailing will not take responsibility for any loss or damaged items left in the vehicle during the process of your booking.

6. Platinum Mobile Car Detailing does not hold any responsibility for removing or reinstalling baby seats. We are also not liable for any accidents that may occur due to improperly installed child seats.

7. When performing an engine bay detail, it is common for electrics to get wet and sometimes cause temporary faults. These faults will clear up once water dries out. Occasionally the fault may persist. For the listed reasons, Platinum Mobile Car detailing takes no responsibility for engine risk. This service is performed on the basis that this is the owner’s risk. We will not be held responsible for faults due to engine/bay detailing.

8. Platinum Mobile Car Detailing reserves the right to cancel or refuse services (current or future) if any of our staff members are verbally or physically abused. This includes if we deem the customer to be unreasonable.

9. Platinum Mobile Car Detailing will not be held responsible for any poor fitting parts on the vehicle. Please make all discrepancies known to the detailer prior to the booking. We will not be held liable for any mechanical, electrical, or other damages caused later.

10. All our services are completed on a best-efforts basis. Platinum Mobile Car Detailing will not be liable for any remaining stains or paint defects that are unable to be removed from the vehicle.

11. Pet hair does come with an extra labour cost; however, we will not guarantee a 100% hair removal

12. During the wash stages, removing dirt and debris from the vehicles paint can reveal dents, paint chips or deeper scratches that were previously not visible. We hold no responsibility for any damaged surfaces.

13. After an interior shampoo has been completed, make sure you leave windows open slightly to prevent moisture build up, which can in turn create a musty or smell of dampness. All carpets and seats usually take a couple hours t dry completely.

14. Whilst we try to complete every job to the highest standard depending on condition and age of vehicle, we advise all customers to check the vehicle upon completion of the detail. If there are any issues with the vehicle, customers should make this know as soon as possible, and will attempt to rectify the issue at that time, to the best of our ability. We do not accept responsibility for any damages done by auto car wash systems, nor are we held liable once we leave the vehicle. Platinum Mobile Car Detailing offers NO refund or exchange on our services.

15. By making a booking via phone or website with Platinum Mobile Car Detailing, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed above.
